Underworld(決戰異世界)

Introduction:
This movie was published in 2003 and the director is Len Wiseman and the main characters are Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Michael Sheen and so on. Vampires and Werewolves have been sworn enemies for hundreds of years. Selene, a beautiful vampire warrior, fights with Lycans on the subway and she finds that Lycans are chasing a human, Michael. Thus, she decides to figure out why and gradually she discovers the great lie that the Lycan overlord, Lucian, long thought to be dead. And she provokes one the eldest vampires to seek his help. What’s worse, Selene seems to fall in love with Michael although he’s infected by Lucian. The conflicts between Werewolf and Vampire become much worse, and it seems that there will be a huge war.

Opinion:
Vampire always leaves an image of noble and graceful and Lycan usually makes us feel horrible and cruel. In Underworld, they look like human nowadays, and they use high technology a lot. It is not only an action but a love movie, and especially the main character is a heroine, Selene. She is very attractive and intelligent. Through Underworld we can see there are still many spices that we don’t know and just like us they fight for food, try to conquer each other and consider losers slaves. Because I am appealed by Vampire deeply, I watched it for many times and recommend my classmates to watch it. The movie is full of miseries, excitements and adventures. You had better go to watch it right now.

The(Das) Experiment(死亡實驗)

Foreword:
The movie is based on the infamous "Stanford Prison Experiment" conducted in 1971. A makeshift prison is set up in a research lab, complete with cells, bars and surveillance cameras. Twenty male participants are hired to play prisoners and guards for two weeks . The prisoners are locked up and have to follow the rules, and the guards are told to retain order and they are forbidden to use physical violence. Everybody is free to quit at any time, but they will lose the payment. In the beginning the mood between both groups is peaceful, but soon quarrels arise and the wardens employ severely sanctions in order to confirm their authority.

Introdution:

Because it seemed like a game, people thought it was an easy way to earn money. The experiment only needed male participants and they had to go to interview. In the end, there were twenty people left. They had to split into two groups and eight men impersonated guards and twelve men were prisoners. As long as they finished it for two weeks, then they could get $2000 each person. It was quite simple at the beginning because prisoners only had to follow the orders and rules and the guards just had to retained the orders without violence. But soon it became a war between the guards and prisoners and their conflicts even made people dead.

Opinion:

How come the easy way to earn money will turn out to be an extreme conflict between these two groups? When day passes, people in the experiment feel like they were really prisoners and guards. The power corrupts the warden employ, he starts to use violence to force prisoners to do something are immoral and cruel. These bad behaviors stir prisoners to rebel against the unfair treatments. However, the researchers are reluctant to stop it before it becomes a tragedy. In this movie, we can see how power corrupts human and how terrible will be when people try to revenge each other. Although the movie is controversy, it points out the true appearance of prison and makes us know the life of prison is much worse than we imagine.

The Message(風聲)

INTRODUCTION :
The message is directed by 陳國富 and 高群書. It's a movie of espionage. The background is set in China in 1950 when China is split and occupied by four governments. This movie mainly talks about espionage in the faked government of 汪精衛 which is supported by Japan. Because of one of the important officials was killed, the Japanese captin was angry and he suspected that there was a traitor. Thus, he sent a false intelligence and caught five officials who have involved in dealing with that information.






OPINION:
The process of investigating those five officials is one of the most spectacular parts in the movie. They originally were co-workers, however, when facing the death, the dark side of humanity all appeared. We can see how they used tricks for getting another in trouble for helping their selves to survive. In addition, we also can see how royal a person can be. And what’s so important that can make a person rather to die?

Perhaps in the beginning you will feel boring, nevertheless, it has magic power to attract you and make you continue to watch because you are eager to know who the traitor is on earth. By the way, the ending is so dramatic that you cannot imagine. So don’t hesitate, just go watching.

Basketball Dinner Party

12/22 is our final dinner party to our team. This time we have six new members, five of them are from freshmen and one of them is from sophomore. Everybody is expecting this party. As a teamleader, of course I should take the responsibility for contacting those thing about making a call to reserve a room and how to get there. However, there is still a little accident happened. I forget about that one junior has no motorcycle. It makes us troublesome. I eagerly make a call to borrow one motorcycle and let freshmen go first although we're late in the end. Waht's more, our table is taken for others so we have to wait. I am so sorry becasue of their disappointed expressions. Fortunatelly, after waiting fifty minutes, we can have dinner finally. The restaurant's services are so great and the food is such delicious. The most imortant thing is our hearts are getting more close to each other. And we hope that in 2010, our team could win more games.

Technical College Cup

Recently, the women basketball team of our school participates the Technical College Cup. There are lots of school teams from varieties of colleges in Taiwan. They will compete with each other and I believe they will show us how great their skills.
However, according the latest news, our school team lost the game. What's worse, they lost by 20-30 points. It makes me shocked because I think it seems that our team is quite strong. In addition, one of my hopes in my college life is going to be part of school team. Thus, I feel so pity for them. Maybe they have bad condition that day so they lost.
By the way, hope that they could gain confidence as soon as they can, and we as a part of shool, should support them as much as we can.

X'MAS GAME

We have a game for celebrating Christmas festival. The game included 3.3, free throws and lay-up in turns. Because of these interesting games, lots of people of DFLL come to enjoy. The first show is lying- up in turns. In this round, we separate forty six people into two teams and each one of them has to run cross the court and lay-up in the basket in front of them and pass the ball to the next one. Some people run fast and some run slowly. In the end, we win and everyone gets a little gift. The second round is 3.3. We have eight teams and the rule is single-elimination. It means every team has only one chance, and if you lose, you can’t keep playing. My team plays hard because we are short. However, we play as best as we can and we are third in the end.
The last part is free throws. The champion is who throws most. On first round, every body has to throw and we choose eight people who throw most. And they have a final game. Eventually, the champion is a sophomore student.
This game makes us have a chance to exercise and enhance our relationship.

Friendship Game

This Tuesday, we had a game with department of finance. It is said that they are good at playing basketball, and some of them are menbers of school team. W e are excited and afraid of being played. However, we see it a great chance to practice and try our best to play. The game is divided into four quarters, and each quarter has ten minutes. At first quarter, I choose four freshman and one sophomore to play. They play well and work hard. Therefore, after two quarters finished, they got even with finance department. This good news made us happy because we were not that bad. I changed freshman with juniors and one sophomore and I, we went over them in the last five minutes of fourth quarter. Eventually, we won the game by 16.10. It made everybody go into wild because we haven't won any one of game for a long long time. One of our teammates said that I haven't tasted the sweetness of winning for a long time. What a wonderful night!
