Basketball Dinner Party

12/22 is our final dinner party to our team. This time we have six new members, five of them are from freshmen and one of them is from sophomore. Everybody is expecting this party. As a teamleader, of course I should take the responsibility for contacting those thing about making a call to reserve a room and how to get there. However, there is still a little accident happened. I forget about that one junior has no motorcycle. It makes us troublesome. I eagerly make a call to borrow one motorcycle and let freshmen go first although we're late in the end. Waht's more, our table is taken for others so we have to wait. I am so sorry becasue of their disappointed expressions. Fortunatelly, after waiting fifty minutes, we can have dinner finally. The restaurant's services are so great and the food is such delicious. The most imortant thing is our hearts are getting more close to each other. And we hope that in 2010, our team could win more games.

Technical College Cup

Recently, the women basketball team of our school participates the Technical College Cup. There are lots of school teams from varieties of colleges in Taiwan. They will compete with each other and I believe they will show us how great their skills.
However, according the latest news, our school team lost the game. What's worse, they lost by 20-30 points. It makes me shocked because I think it seems that our team is quite strong. In addition, one of my hopes in my college life is going to be part of school team. Thus, I feel so pity for them. Maybe they have bad condition that day so they lost.
By the way, hope that they could gain confidence as soon as they can, and we as a part of shool, should support them as much as we can.

X'MAS GAME

We have a game for celebrating Christmas festival. The game included 3.3, free throws and lay-up in turns. Because of these interesting games, lots of people of DFLL come to enjoy. The first show is lying- up in turns. In this round, we separate forty six people into two teams and each one of them has to run cross the court and lay-up in the basket in front of them and pass the ball to the next one. Some people run fast and some run slowly. In the end, we win and everyone gets a little gift. The second round is 3.3. We have eight teams and the rule is single-elimination. It means every team has only one chance, and if you lose, you can’t keep playing. My team plays hard because we are short. However, we play as best as we can and we are third in the end.
The last part is free throws. The champion is who throws most. On first round, every body has to throw and we choose eight people who throw most. And they have a final game. Eventually, the champion is a sophomore student.
This game makes us have a chance to exercise and enhance our relationship.

Friendship Game

This Tuesday, we had a game with department of finance. It is said that they are good at playing basketball, and some of them are menbers of school team. W e are excited and afraid of being played. However, we see it a great chance to practice and try our best to play. The game is divided into four quarters, and each quarter has ten minutes. At first quarter, I choose four freshman and one sophomore to play. They play well and work hard. Therefore, after two quarters finished, they got even with finance department. This good news made us happy because we were not that bad. I changed freshman with juniors and one sophomore and I, we went over them in the last five minutes of fourth quarter. Eventually, we won the game by 16.10. It made everybody go into wild because we haven't won any one of game for a long long time. One of our teammates said that I haven't tasted the sweetness of winning for a long time. What a wonderful night!

A Second Game of Departments

The first game of departments is coming. Five new freshman has joined us, and they all play not bad. It seems that we have numerous hope can win. We are confident that we would win the game but we lose in the end. At firse, we play very worse, however, we start to find our tempo and controll the game. Just when we are going to catch up on the points, the time is over. We can not help but accept the truth that we fail to win. Everybody is upset.

The New Leader

Become a sophomore, I also turn out to be a leader of our team. I have lot of things in my mind, and I want to make our team stronger and better. Thus, when I am in China, I read many information of basketball. For example, I learn some skills which can improve our strength. In addition, the basketball are divided into two categories which are defending and attacking. I watch the teaching videos and try to tell our team menbers how to practice it. Everything I do is all want to make our team not to be that weak.

Games of Foreign Language

We went to Tai-nang to have a game of DFLL. This time, these teams came from every colleges' DFLL. As a result, this game can be seen as the most fairest game. At first day, we won one of the games and lost one. We went into crazy and happy because we can have another game tomorrow. It meant that we have to stay in Tai-neng for one night. To save our money, we went to one of our teammates' house. Her name was Linda. Her mother was welcome and genero us. We all expected the second day's coming. We originally can win the game, but it rained dogs and cats suddenly. Besides, the time was cut down to three minutes and our senior left earlier so that we lost that game by only four points in the end. By the way, each team in this game would get a cup. Because one team only has one cup, it became very cherish. We decided that the person who play best can get that cup. And, I was that person who gained that award that time.

Games Between Department of Literature and Social Management.

It's the last important game in school of my freshman year. We always expect that we can win but our dream just can't be fullfilled. In the other words, we lose again at the very beginging. Why we keep losing, I ask myself?. Nevertheless, it's hard for me to figure out results. We start to lose our confidence because going through so many failures.

Departments' Basketball Games

The second important game for me is the games between each department. Why people study hard? Because they want to get good grades. Why people practice hard? Because they want to win and show their best.
We practice at every Tuesday and Thursday night. After we finish, we usually play 3.3 to enhance relationship of teammates. Exercising always can make people happy and relax and it's effective to our health. Unfortunately, we lose at the very begining of the game at this time. What a pity! I am so sad that we can't win but I also tell myself that I must practice hard in the future.
We have to keep practicing and wait the next game.

Freshman Basketball Game

My favorite sport is basketball. Thus, after I heard that our department has woman's basketball team, I can not help but join it as soon as I can. I practice basketball with sophomore students and my classmates happily. However, the most exciting thing is that we have a freshman basketball game.
Our first game is on Tuesday night. As a freshman, I am very nervous and happy because I can show what I practice to help my teammates win this game and gain glory for DFLL. Many people of DFLL come to cheer for us at that night. It is that night I become the MVP. I get almost twenty points for our team and we win that game in the end.
Our leader, sophomores , and seniors are very excited because they have not won games for such a long long time. Therefore, they feel that we are their hope. We all want to have a different team and win more games in the future.
